Privately-owned Namena Island Resort, nestled within its own Namena Barrier Reef, lies 14 miles south of Vanua Levu. Six hexagonal wood and bamboo bures - five perched on the ridge top and one at the beach - offers panoramic views and total seclusion from other bures. A king canopy bed, floor-to-ceiling sliding louver doors enabling entire walls to open onto a wrap-around balcony, his/her bathrooms, coffee/tea making facilities and romantic gas wall lamps compliment each bure.
Cuisine is an international blend of fresh produce and seafood delicacies prepared with an island twist. Activities include snorkeling, ocean kayaking, windsurfing, fishing, a picnic on a deserted beach, bird watching and some of Fiji's most spectacular scuba diving (which is an additional charge).
