Coconut Grove is located on the north end of Taveuni Island, is one of only three properties on Taveuni that is directly on a private, white sand beach. The surrounding waters, known as the
Somosomo Straits, are Fiji's top diving and snorkeling areas, of world-class standard.
There are three accommodations to choose from at Coconut Grove, Banana Bure, Papaya Bure, and Mango Bure. Each cottage style bure has a queen size bed, outdoor shower, ceiling fans, a mini-refrigerator, and ocean views. Each bure has its own unique features, so there is one that is perfect for you!
The Oceanfront Restaurant offers fresh fish and seafood, organically grown vegetables, homemade pastas, curries and Fijian style cuisine as well as New Zealand's finest imported beef. Meals can be served in our oceanfront restaurant, on your private verandah, or down on the beach by candlelight.
Several nights during the week, you'll be entertained by the local band boys playing their ukuleles and singing their sweet island tunes. Once a week is the cultural night when the entire village performs their traditional dance on the beach, followed by food cooked in the traditional Fijian way in an underground oven.
