Vatulele is located on a spectacular island in the Fiji island group. It is 25 minutes by light aircraft from Nadi International Airport. Vatulele has been designed to ensure that your stay is carefree from the moment you arrive on the island. Vatulele is for those who want to escape from the pressures of the Western world, yet still want to enjoy five star standards. The resort particularly suits outgoing people who are able to enjoy the company of others, in addition to their own privacy.
The villas or bures are spacious and identical, enjoying easy access to the water, each with its stretch of white sand. Twelve doors open to an expansive terrace, and from the living room you walk up three steps to the bedroom, with a king size bed and a dressing area. The walk in shower is wonderful. The bures are approximately 50 meters apart and surrounded by natural jungle providing ultimate privacy.
The Grand Bure is the most remote of the bures; it is noted for its extreme privacy, and architectural detailing. Vale Viqi gives you 1960 square feet of exclusive space plus private courtyard/deck. It is air conditioned and offers a sound system, two indoor showers, two outdoor showers, bidet, bathtub, dining area, and plunge pool, all surrounded by beautiful tropical foliage. All this plus easy beach access.
The Point is the premium bure nestled on the edge of a cliff. The two levels of living space and terraces provide commanding views of the ocean. The villa also has not one but two private pools. Service is provided by your personal valet. This bure is ideally suited to high profile guests seeking privacy.
Vatulele is recognized for its food, ranging from Californian to Thai, Japanese, Austral/Asian and Indian, any style that suits our glorious tropical climate and laid back lifestyle. Fresh ingredients are flown in daily from Australia and New Zealand. Naturally there is an emphasis on seafood. Because of the all inclusive tariff, there are ample opportunities to sample the contents of the first class cellar, including unlimited French champagne. Most of the meals areserved on a terrace outside the large central pavilion overlooking the lagoon. By night, tables are set under the stars and lit by lanterns and candlelight. At full moon, the "dining room" is usually set by the water's edge. Dining is usually communal, and hosted by the management.
There are many things to keep you occupied at Vatulele; hike to see the red prawns, cave walk, hike to the lighthouse, and village visits or enjoy a picnic at Nooky Nooky Island.
